The CARS & STARS Online program has 3 levels of reports: class reports; individual student reports and the school reports. The class reports and individual student reports are accessed with a Teacher subscription whereas the school reports are only accessible for Teacher subscriptions with School Administrator Access Rights.
There are Placement test reports, CARS reports and STARS reports. You will be able to download the reports in the form of PDF or CSV files, with the options located at the top right-hand side of the page.
The STARS reports are generated from the results of the STARS Lessons, including Review and Final Review Lessons. First, we will discuss the types of STARS Class reports, followed by the school reports.
There are several different types of STARS Class reports to suit your teaching needs. The STARS Class reports are quite like CARS Class reports in their functionality but vary in the type of data analysed.
The STARS Class Progress Report can be used to find the students who have and have not completed the STARS Lessons, Review and Final Review Lessons. This report is quite handy to find students who have not completed the STARS module yet. The green bubble indicates that the student has completed the lesson and red bubble indicates that the student has not completed the lesson.
The Class Reading Strategy Details Report can be used to find the answers provided by the students for the STARS Lessons. The timing feature shows the time taken by the students to complete the STARS lessons. Written responses provided by the students can be downloaded from this report.
The STARS: Class Lesson Performance Report can be used to analyse student performance based on their scores for each lesson.
The STARS Individual Student reports are easily accessed from the student details page via the STARS Reports tab. There are several types of reports for different teacher needs. The available STARS Individual Student Reports are:

Like the CARS School Report, STARS School reports can be accessed only by using teacher accounts with school administrator access rights. The STARS School reports offer an overview of the overall school's reading comprehension performance in the STARS Lessons.
The STARS: School Performance Report allows school administrators to monitor each individual class’s performance, with the total score and timing of each student in their respective reading levels. The timing feature shows how long the student spent on their STARS lessons.
The STARS: School Intervention Report provides a clear indication of overall performance and the extent of intervention needed in the school for the STARS lessons. It is useful for the School Administrator to assess classes at the end of the term.
All previous reports produced will be saved in Reporting History. The Reporting History acts as a set of dynamically created bookmarks that can be easily retrieved by a single click. This feature will help teachers to save time as you do not have to fill in report filters again.
